The Story
The Petzl Rig is a self braking descender that is very easy to use. Used by rope access professionals, it has made its way into the arboricultural industry with multiple uses. The Rig can be used for single rope work positioning. The Rig can also be used as a trunk anchor to make your entire single line or floating false crotch system lowerable from the ground. Does not need to be detached from the climber to attach to rope.
